Socially, HPM is quite active & does organize various events in pro-bono. Its major focus has been the rural people, every year minimum two villages in each territory are adopted as Sukhya village and HPM provides all support to uplift the lives of the villagers. The company works for the general welfare, health, nutrition and education of the rural folk, tree plantation programs. It has undertaken several programmes such as midday meal for children, provision for drinking water, health campaign & immunization program, and scholarships for poor children. Under its mother-child care program , HPM provides sufficient food and nutrition to all infants child bearing mothers in the locality.

HPM is also complying standards requirements laid down by SA 8000:2003 meeting requirements of Corporate Social Responsibility.
