With the aim of becoming the leader in the pulverising sector for the insecticidal dusts like BHC, DDT and Malathion, a pulverizing unit was established in the year 1976. Driven by passion of being an Indian, he created Hindustan Pulverising Mills, a corporate name of the enterprise, which got a popularity by the name of HPM in those times, which is still continuing with the same passion under the leadership of his son Shri Ashok Aggarwal as its Chairman & Managing Director.
In 80's HPM introduced its first pesticide molecule Malathion and soon a liquid formulation unit at Bakoli, G.T. Road , Karnal was started to add 10 new molecules to the product basket. During the same year marketing network was extended to Maharashtra, Gujarat , Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
In 90's HPM opened 10 new offices and expanded its operation in almost 20 states in India . In 1999, at the advent of silver jubilee function of HPM the concept of “Sukhiya” emerged out, a mascot of advance inputs and modern technologies to the common Indian farmer to bring happiness and satisfaction in his life.
With the arrival of new millennium, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ashok Aggarwal and under the leadership of Mr. Nikhil Aggarwal, the company has seen a new phase which is mixture of traditional theme and professional approach. It was the blend of three generations that company has seen a huge jump of 20-25% increase in sales each year for the last six consecutive years.
HPM endeavors to keep pace with the modern technology and is on its way to introduce latest Agri-Technologies and lead the agriculture development by extending high quality inputs and ecologically attuned technologies to the Indian Agriculture. Successful implementation of SAP a world class ERP system in all of its branches, factories and offices in a record time in India , HPM has taken a giant leap towards its goal to lead the industry as a most disciplined and dedicated corporate house.
