DESCRIPTION
It is persistent insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action. It do not translocated in plant.
Mode of action
It acts on the nervous system of insects,disturbs the function of neurons by interaction with sodium channel. Also by inhibiting chitin biosynthesis and subsequent cuticle deposition. It also effect s on the hormone level s of nymphs associated with moulting and on prostaglandin synthesis. The inhibition of moulting of nymphs and larvae, leads to death.

In plants only limited metabolism occurs. Minor metabolites indicate a pathway involving hydroxylation or oxidative loss of the tert-butyl group, followed by opening of the heterocyclic ring.
