STUMP (Metribuzin 70% WP)

Stump is a selective pre & post emergence systemic herbicide.
It effectively controls wide variety broad-leaved weeds & grasses by inhibiting photosynthesis in them.
It is absorbed predominantly by roots & leaves and translocate acropetally in the xylem.
In case used before germination, remove soil clods and ensure sufficient oil moisture (5 to 10%).

DESCRIPTION
Metribuzin is a photosynthetic electron transport inhibitor at the photosystem II receptor site. Selectivity is due to metabolism (mostly conjugation) within the plant.
Mode of action
Metribuzin is a selective systemic herbicide, absorbed predominantly by the roots, but also by the leaves, with translocation acropetally in the xylem.
Applications It is pre and post emergence control of many grasses and broad-leaved weeds in soya beans, potatoes, tomatoes, sugarcane, alfalfa, asparagus, maize and cereals. It inhibits photosynthesis.
